Bangkok, June 12, 2018 — The Bangkok International Auto Salon 2018, ASEAN’s largest modified automotive show and sales event, is ready to be held from July 4-8 at the Challenger 2 Hall, IMPACT Muangthong Thani.

According to organizers, this year’s event will feature not only customized vehicles for exhibition but also for sale, plus accessories various activities to attract visitors.

Cournot and Nash Co. Ltd., the organizer of the Bangkok Internatinal Auto Salon, staged a press conference on the progress of the staging of the event on June 12 at Jupiter 4-5, IMPACT Muangthong Thani.

Wiluck Lohtong, President of Cournot and Nash Co. Ltd. and chairman of the organizing committee, were present along with Vaksorn Lohtong, Managing Director of Siam Sport Digital Media Co. Ltd. and vice chairman of the organizing committee, also with Ronnarit Suewaja, Managing Director of Cournot and Nash Co. Ltd and vice chairman of the organizing committee, and Tokyo Auto Salon organizer, Masaharu Sakai, Executive Director of Tokyo Auto Salon and representatives from various automobile, motorcycle and accessory companies participating in the event.

 

Mr. Wiluck said, “The Bangkok International Auto Salon is the joint effort between Cournot and Nash Co. Ltd. and San-Ei shobo Publishing Co. Ltd. from Japan, and is the only auto show in Thailand that features a festival theme and is made up of vehicles for both show and sales with attractive sales campaigns being offered.”

“We also bring the atmosphere of the world-famous Tokyo Auto Salon by bringing over the most outstanding custom cars from Japan for Thai fans, as well as provide sales of parts and accessories at very special prices. Visitors are also promised exciting performances by Thai and Japanese celebrities who will raise the tempo further on a daily basis.

To be held from July 4-8, the Bangkok International Auto Salon will feature auto exhibits from Honda, Isuzu, Nissan, Suzuki, Toyota, Mazda, BMW, MINI, MIllennium Auto Group, Kia, Benz Metro Autohaus, Summit Honda Automobile, Nissan Yaowarach, etc.

Motorcycle exhibits will be provided by Honda, Royal Enfield, Benelli, Suzuki, Yamaha, MF Motorrad and more, while custom houses include Oak Club, Liberty Walk, PP Superwheels, Forever Shop, ECU-SHOP, Monza Shop, BRC Clutch, BRD, PPK Racing, Aek Garage, Work, Cusco, HC Group, etc. There will also be accessory manufacturers from Japan and China setting up booth as well.

All participating companies will be showing up a large variety of cars and motorcycles with attractive sales campaigns in order to create the highest benefits for visitors, Mr. Wiluck added.

“The large number of attractive sales promotions will not only help stimulate sales during the show but is also considered as a thank you to consumers,” he said.

 

Ronnarit Suewaja, Managing Director of Cournot and Nash Co. Ltd and vice chairman of the organizing committee , added, “This year organizers are fully prepared with the expansion of the event into one with complete sales for cars and motorcycles. This broadens the scope in which consumers can purchase vehicles with very special offers, so we are also staging a promotion to help promote sales. A Suzuki Swift Auto Salon edition will be the top raffle prize followed by full-paid tours to Japan. Those who make purchases of 1,000 THB or above at the show could also win free coupons that could be spent within the event too.”

The top custom cars from this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon will be highlighted, giving Thai fans a chance to study and understand high-level car customization projects.

In terms of entertainment, performances from Edo Wonderland to Sexy Car Wash shows by Japanese and Thai beauties add to the excitement of the Bangkok International Auto Salon 2018. Throughout the 5 days, there will also be numerous club meetings for both cars and motorcycles.
